The first post in awhile that didn't concern videos of bikini models, and the very first post about a Guy. Yes a guy. Park Chan-Wook is a korean film director known for his hits Oldboy, JSA, Sympathy for Lady vengeance, and most recently(although not a major success) I'm a Cyborg, but that's Okay. He broke out in Korea with the movie JSA: a story about the guards on the DMZ line between North and South Korea. He then went on the trilogy that labeled him one of the best directors of our time. Extremely talented director of suspense has always a dark theme in his movies. He has been praised by his peers, especially the infamous Quentin Tarentino praise on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and also be highly regarded by his critics
His movies are like reading the Fyodor Dostoevesky's novels. They are visually appealing, and also the stories are gripping. He has greatly increased the Korean cinema appeal worldwide, and for anyone interested in something that is dark, and albeit an Asian movie, check out Oldboy, or the first of the Revenge trilogy: Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance.
